How a record ends up here
Every record in the corpus is assigned a primary trade from the categories the source data carries. A record lands in this bucket when its categories describe home services without naming one of the ten trades this site publishes hubs for, when they name several trades with no clear primary, or when they are general enough that choosing one would be a guess. General contracting, remodelling, handyman work, restoration, garage doors, fencing, glass, appliance repair and locksmithing all commonly land here.
That makes this list broader and less comparable than any other hub on the site. Two businesses next to each other in it may have nothing in common, which is not true of two roofers.
Why the licence figures behave differently here
The licensed share on this site is computed only where a state licence covers the trade the record is listed under. A residual record's licences resolve to the licence files' own residual class, so a link between a record here and a licence is a weaker statement than the same link on an electrical hub, where the licence class names the work.
The employment and wage line is usually absent for the same reason: no single Bureau of Labor Statistics occupation maps to a bucket of mixed trades cleanly enough to print, so this page shows no figure rather than one built from an occupation that means something else.
